Be a goooood dog

I've never experienced such a stern Oma before.
Today, she scolded me just because I ate a morsel of chocolate that DROPPED on the linoleum floor. I was both overjoyed and grateful to accept the fact that this choc piece was ENTIRELY mine. I mean, normally humans don't eat things that drop there.....that's a fact. So Oma wouldn't have eaten the piece that dropped, right?
Dogs are less concious about such matters. We eat everything, our immune system is stronger, apparently.
Anyway, Oma started scolding me non stop like no ones business. I mean, why and what for?? She told me (or rather yelled at me) that chocolate would make blokes like me sick. Sick? Oh boy.
I think I'll never eat chocolate again. Especially when it falls on the floor. Hihi. I love her anyway.

Marley & me by John Grogan

I just LOVE this Bestseller!

Marley & me, by John Grogan, is a novel about a crazy Labrador retriever.
It's a real story......John and his wife Jenny had this dog before, a few years back. Marley was a golden retriever who absolutely enjoyed life. He was the perfect example of what a dog's life should actually be. He was free, wild and of course......out of his mind.
The Highlight.
Marley "ate" the wedding present of the couple. It was an expensive golden necklace. Oh what fear! The Grogans kept waiting, and waiting.....until the necklace had to exit from the "place".(You know where). It was more polished than before......and you can imagine why...unless you know nothing about the magical power of dog's guts. Simply put, Marley was praised for a great job done.
Wow.....what a life. I'd love to be in his shoes. Wild, free and always pardoned for foolish deeds!
